Tanya Tomlinson

Tanya brings nearly two decades of Canadian retail and wholesale experience to Renaissance Americas, with the unusual advantage of having built her career on both sides of the buying table.
She spent her early career as a merchant, holding senior buying and category management roles at Hudson’s Bay Company, TJX Canada and Sears Canada, where she managed multi-million-dollar portfolios across ladieswear, activewear, accessories and footwear. She later moved to the vendor side, leading apparel sales, brand and production teams at Mad Engine International, Intelligent Fabric Technologies, Bioworld Canada and The Indeka Group — building licensed and private label programs for retailers including Walmart, Giant Tiger, Loblaws, Canadian Tire, TJX Canada and Ardene.
That dual perspective shapes how she works: she understands what a buyer needs to see, and what a factory needs to hear. At Renaissance Americas, she connects North American retail partners to the Group’s vertically integrated manufacturing base across woven, jersey, knit and sweater categories.
Tanya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Fashion Merchandising (cum laude) from the American College for Applied Arts, Atlanta.
